Beginnings are always exciting, especially when they are filled with optimism and opportunities. This is how the five companies of Batch 2.0 of Orion Startups arrived on March, that will be part of the 5-month acceleration program.
Talented people with big ideas are joining the program; such is the case of David Romero, 34 years old and Isabel Borunda, Digital Marketing Specialist.
This couple is founder of Xaandia, a Software Development Company that has previously developed platforms such as Segurifact, with over 1000 clients. Now, they are looking for Orion’s support to help grow their most recent project: Marketero.
Marketero is born from the problem of companies that do not have the expected results with their online marketing efforts. Creating a web page or a Fanpage on Facebook is not attracting the new opportunities or clients they are looking for, because they do not have the right tools to benefit from them.
This is why David and Isabel created Marketero, to help companies with their digital marketing tools. They started looking for external support, and this is when, by sharing an office with one of the companies from the first batch of Orion Startups, they found out about the call for the program and could not resist participating in it.
Now as a part of Generation 2.0, they are looking to increase their client base to 200 in the next year, with the help of national and international mentors, and with the 30K USD capital they receive from Orion Startups.
“What you will achieve with Marketero is to take advantage of the efforts you make online to capture opportunities and be able to follow them” says David, explaining that with the email marketing tools, landing pages and CRM platform that will be offered by Marketero, companies can stop having a page just for having it and start seeing results.
Marketero is intended for the Spanish-speaking user, and for those who are seeking to design their own forms in a simple and easy way, with free access or until it fits their needs.
In next April, Marketero will be launching their full service as a part of their second stage. With the support from Orion Startups, they expect to strengthen the project and to keep increasing their client base.
